Hafod - Organic Cheddar

Hafod is an organic hard cheddar-type cheese handmade using only the unpasteurised milk from a small herd of Ayrshire cows.

Flavour: Cheddar flavour. Deep, mellow and rich with butter. Just a hint of sharpness.
Appearance: Golden yellow, some openness of texture. Occasional blue vein (should be thin - less than 1cm diameter and not longer than 5cm length).
Aroma: Rich, sweet.
Texture: Firm / medium bodied.
