Traditional Haggis

Serves 6-8

Ingredients

Lamb offal, Beef fat, Oatmeal, Water, Onion, Salt, Pepper, Spices.

Storage or Usage Information

If frozen, defrost thoroughly first before cooking and consume within 24 hours.

Oven: Wrap tightly in foil. Place on an oven tray with about 2cm of water and heat at 190oC (gas mark 5) until piping hot- approximately 50 - 60 minutes

Steam Method: Place in steamer oven at 100oC for approximately 55 minutes

Microwave (800w category D): Remove casing and clips. Cut haggis into pieces. Place in a suitable microwave dish, cover and heat on ‘medium’ setting for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Microwave ovens vary, adjust times accordingly.
